Our special guest speaker Rev. Dr. John G. Moore, Sr.
is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 2005, he retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of honorable service to his nation. Dr. Moore is also President and CEO of Total Increase Ministries and is the Senior Pastor of the Dover Christian Church in Dover, Delaware. He has a Bachelor’s degree from Western New England University, a Masters in Business Administration from Delaware State University and a Doctor of Ministry from Friends International Christian University. In 2022 thru 2024 Dr. Moore was the keynote speaker at over 70 commemoration services celebrating the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the celebration of African American History. In that period of time, he also facilitated over 25 leadership development forums.
Rev. Dr. Moore is an internationally recognized minister and orator who has spoken in hundreds of schools, colleges, churches, correctional facilities and organizational gatherings locally and virtually, throughout the nation and abroad to include Hawaii, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Britain and Africa. A highlight for Rev. Moore occurred on August 26, 2011, when he was selected to recite “I Have A Dream” at a private dedication in Washington D.C. for the opening of the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial. The event was attended by over 7500 guest to include Elder Bernice King, Martin Luther King III, Christine King Farris, Andrew Young, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Myrlie Evers Williams, and Rev. Joseph Lowery. In 2016, Dr. Moore was named as the keynote speaker for the New York State Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo in Albany, New York. Dr. Moore resides in Magnolia, Delaware with his wife of thirty-nine years, Candace Alphonso-Moore. They have two sons, John Jr., and Collin Joshua and one grandson Adam. His motto in life is “If I can help somebody as I pass along, then my living will not be in vain”.
